I am a former corporate executive, owner and founder of several successful businesses. I bring my coaching clients a track record of sound business thinking complemented by strong implementation skills. When I was an executive, I depended on a mentor to guide me in setting and reaching my goals. I know from personal experience how crucial that kind of relationship is to success.

As a chairman with TEC International, I run a “think tank” for CEO’s and Presidents who are dedicated to increasing their effectiveness and enhancing their lives. TEC provides these leaders an opportunity to work ON their business and not IN their business. As TEC chair, I meet with each member for two hours every six weeks focusing on personal development and exploring ways to grow their businesses. I am their champion, advocate and sounding board for the every day challenges that they face.

TEC is an International organization of over 9000 active members, CEO’s and Presidents. For over 40 years, TEC has provided a unique combination of management tools to help CEO’s translate ideas and actions into tangible, bottom line results. Dun & Bradstreet recently surveyed TEC member companies and found that compound annual growth grew by 7.0 percentage points AFTER joining TEC. Coaching sessions help members identify and develop action plans to out perform their competitors. We develop strategies for results not excuses.

I first began coaching leaders in 1993 as CEO of Oxford Management Strategies, Inc., capitalizing on my leadership positions in business, civic, and social organizations. I bring the practical experience of having "been there, done that," to my coaching practice.

Michael taught me to overcome my resistance to taking the initiative in meeting new people and expanding my business network. With his help I have become adept at "working a room," and have attracted several new clients to the firm in the last six months!
